Aleppo soap is associated with the city of Aleppo, in Syria, and is regarded as the oldest soap in the world. The first documented production of Aleppo soap dates back to the 8th century C.E.
Due to its olive oil content, it is classified as a Castile soap, but distinguished by adding laurel berry oil. Fabulous for sensitive/problematic skin, it has great antibacterial properties, and is prized all over the world.
