Contains cocoa & shea butter to condition your pits, & essential oils to keep the bacteria at bay that cause body odour. The Original has a unisex scent. Musk has an earthy, manly scent.
As our Moisturising Deodorant has been formulated for sensitive skin, it does NOT contain sodium bicarbonate. It has been tested (& excels) in the hottest Durban summers, but it will not work miracles. To aid its efficiency, use it in conjunction with the Antibacterial Facial/Body Bar. Wear loose clothing to allow your pits to breathe, & avoid overheating.
REFILL: Comes ready to slot into your existing dispenser. Simply wind your dispenser up to the top, insert the refill with the hole facing down, & gently push the refill in as you wind the dispenser down again. The Refill option can also be used as is – store it in an airtight container of your choice.

I have been using this deodorant for well over a year, maybe two and I just cant use anything else. Where 90% of ladies deos are either antiperspirant or a combination, its so hard to find a mild deodorant for sensitive underarms. I suffer from lumps under my arms with anything else but this. Goes on well with the dispenser and smells fresh all day.

I used to get ‘stinky’ sweat when I got big frights – and it was bad and as I get frights easily, it was a bit of a disaster. I used the bicarb-diy-deo for about a year – got terrible rashes from it and it worked, but not for very long periods of time.
And then I got Au Naturel’s deodorant bar. 1 – it works, really really well. 2 – I’m now at the point where I don’t even need to put it on every day – I sometimes go 2/3 days without it and in winter I can go weeks without it… I end up putting it on just for the niceness of it. 3 – I know I’m not the norm, but I’m still, 2 years later, on the same first bar I got. I’ve bought more, but they’re just sitting in the cupboard waiting for me. 4 – no oily marks on clothes. That was a big problem for me with other natural and diy products
I live in somerset west (cape town) and we visit Durban semi-regularly. It works brilliantly at both places. Also in Kimberley and Johannesburg (where we also visit family).
Still sweat (and I am a profuse sweater) but no more smell.

I did review last year but I would love to review again.. Almost like an updated review because people change and may not always like the same things…
I’ve changed but my choice of deodorant has not and never will. I’m in love with moisturizing deodorant from au naturel. It smells amazing and lasts all day long. Recently my daughter started using it and she is so happy that she had a “natural smell”, she is only 9 and learning young about natural ways to hygiene.

I have used this product twice now, it lasts very long and is hands down the best deodorant I’ve ever used. I coach gymnastics in the afternoons and this moisturising deodorant keeps me fresh all day.
